Durian Feast
Everytime Pete came back to KL, he never gave durian a miss! The first night, he bought 5 packs of D24 for RM25. On another night, he bought 7 packs of "Mao Shan Wong", a far better breed than D24, all for RM30! Even mom could not resist the "Mao Shan Wong".

Broken Piping
2 weeks back, the underground water piping at our Nusaputra home gave way due to poor quality piping and aggravated by the receding land. We lost slightly over 200m3 of water in a day. Fortunately, we had 3 very talented Mr Fix-it-All around town and had the problem fixed in no time. Otherwise, it would have cost us RM1000+ to get someone else fix it! All's well, we treated the 3 Mr. Fit-it-All to a scrumptious dinner that nite. Thanks, guys!!!

Congratulations, Dr. Peter Chong!
Finally, Pete was conferred as an Ophthalmologist ( M S Ophth [UM] ) on 11 August 2009. Ah Ba, Amikia and I attended the ceremony, held at University of Malaya - Malaysia's oldest university.

"Congratulations, my dear. Continue to be a blessing to many out there who once were not able to have sight. We are all very proud of you!!"

A Weekend in Sibu
I was in good old Sibu town, last weekend. Nothing has changed since my last visit. It was a lazy weekend for me, doing nothing but eat, sleep and watch TV.

A Weekend to Remember
Pete finally managed to get the weekend off, after slightly more than a month in remote Sibu. It was a short weekend for sure, but nonetheless I think we had one of the best times together.
