Finally, Pete was conferred as an Ophthalmologist ( M S Ophth [UM] ) on 11 August 2009. Ah Ba, Amikia and I attended the ceremony, held at University of Malaya - Malaysia's oldest university. "Congratulations, my dear. Continue to be a blessing to many out there who once were not able to have sight. We are all very proud of you!!"

ReplyDeleteFinally, the day has come. Though the ceremony was quite boring, basically just sitting there, waiting for your name to be announced. Then, it'll only take about 10 seconds to walk up the stage, receive the scroll and back to square one, sitting and waiting, he he..
