Broken Piping

2 weeks back, the underground water piping at our Nusaputra home gave way due to poor quality piping and aggravated by the receding land. We lost slightly over 200m3 of water in a day. Fortunately, we had 3 very talented Mr Fix-it-All around town and had the problem fixed in no time. Otherwise, it would have cost us RM1000+ to get someone else fix it! All's well, we treated the 3 Mr. Fit-it-All to a scrumptious dinner that nite. Thanks, guys!!!

  1. I wonder who was the one that was reluctant to let the Sibu gang to fix the pipe. And that particular person even recommended to let the "bangla" guy to fix the external piping even from the start. That didn't just cost money, but it'll look ugly coz' the pipes will be exposed. We had 3 best brains on the field, of course, the Piping Consultant with almost 40 years of piping experince (papa), an engineer who has extensive knowledge and experience in house designing and construction (which involves piping), and an ophthalmologist who knows nothing about pipes but can collect signs and symptoms of the water leakage, which led to the discovery of the leaking point of thebroken pipe. He he... Of course, at the end of the day, my hands also sustained injury due to the digging activity. The pipe was probably 2 feet below the ground.. Good exercise, though..

  2. Yeah la.... next time anything to do with home improvement, I'll leave it in your good hands! Let's just hope the pipe don't break again, though.

  4. I doubt the pipe will break anytime soon. Anyway, just pray i don't have to dig the earth anymore.
